Larimer County Plane Crash
Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies along with Poudre Fire Authority and Poudre Valley Ambulance responded to a small plane crash this afternoon (3/8/12) at approximately 1:00 p.m. near County Road 5 and County Road 40. The 69-year-old male pilot of the downed aircraft walked away from the crash but was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Date: 2/21/2012 Wendy Vita Hart, DOB: 032055, has been identified as the shooter in a domestic incident that occurred at 1300 Cherry Avenue in Loveland, Colorado on February 12, 2012. This incident resulted in the death of her boyfriend Jeffery Buckley. Ms. Hart called 911 at approximately 9:44 p.m. on February 12 to report the shooting. Press Release Date: December 30, 2011 Larimer County Jail Inmate Devin Wayne Thomas, DOB: 07/06/85 was charged today with 2nd Degree Assault (F4) for attacking a Larimer County Jail deputy. On December 19 a routine task turned violent. A deputy in the high security area of the jail was handing out clean laundry when he was attacked. Date: Dec. 29, 2011 At 10:46 p.m. last night (12/28/11), Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 3500-block of Rifle Court in Laporte on the report of a physical disturbance. Stabbing at Plaza Hotel At approximately 9:55 p.m. Christmas night a 44 year old male walked into Poudre Valley Hospital bleeding from a laceration to his neck. He was treated at the hospital for that injury and other apparent stab wounds. Date: 12/15/2011 Four inmates have been charged in connection with a disturbance in the high security area of the Larimer County Jail on November 20, 2011 which resulted in a lockdown of the entire facility, the activation of the Jail's Special Emergency Response Team and a K-9 to be brought into the facility.
