Spartan Wrestlers get ready for regionals

By Denise Schump The Spartan grapplers hit the road on Thursday to battle the Sterling Tigers in the last regional dual meet of the season. With Sterling’s three open weights and Berthoud’s eight state ranked wrestlers, the Tigers did not have much of a chance. The most exciting and well fought match of the night came from freshman, Austin Bending (103) who battled back and forth with Rock Tidwell from Sterling, only to come up short by one point in the last few seconds of the match ...
