Berthoud Boys drop game to Mead

Zack Ruebesam scored 16 points in Berthoud's 47-55 loss to the Mead  Mavericks. The Spartans  are now 2-6 overall and 0-1 in league play. Berthoud Wrestlers place 5th at East Invitational

Berthoud will likely lose their number one ranking following their 5th place finish at the 50th East High School Invitational on Saturday. The second ranked Alamosa Maroons piled up 189 team points to the Spartans' 120 points. The high spots for Berthoud were Robby Workman who pinned his opponent to win the 135 pound class and J.T. The disappointing record did not stop the team from celebrating their achievements and honoring the graduating seniors on Wednesday evening. Two seniors were singled out for special recognition.
