HAYS, KS -- Several area students have accepted scholarships to attend Fort Hays State University for the 2011-2012 academic year. Robert Workman, a 2011 Berthoud High School graduate, accepted a $700 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award. Workman is the son of Rob and Laurie Workman, Berthoud, Colo. Spartans drop season opener 49-21 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud Spartan wrestling team kicked off their 2010 season on Friday night with a non-conference match against the Thompson Valley Eagles in the Berthoud High gym.
