Berthoud residents need to remove snow
The Town of Berthoud would like to remind its citizens that they need to remove snow from the sidewalks within 24 hours from the time the snow stops. The following town ordinance applies: 15.12 of the ordinances of the Town of Berthoud: Removal of Snow and Ice. It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant of any lot, block or parcel of ground within the Town, or for any agent in charge of such property, to allow any snow or ice to accumulate or remain upon any sidewalk ... Santa Clause goes to school
The children at the Berthoud Early Learning Center had a surprise visitor this week. Santa came to the school twice on Wednesday, handing out gifts to the morning and afternoon classes. The children were definitely excited and happy to see Santa and to receive gifts. A gift for each child is made possible by the generosity of the employees of the town of Berthoud.
