Julian Lujan Huerta of Berthoud, Colorado died June 17, 2011, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 77 years of age. He was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Berthoud, to Gregorio Aguilar Huerta and Natalia Lujan. He graduated from Berthoud High School in 1953 and then served in the U.S. Army. He was first married to Twylah Claudette Seguine.
