Three Berthoud teams of robotics whiz kids competed in the VEX Robotics World Championship at Disney World last week. Nearly 10,000 middle school, high school and university students from 16 countries participated in the event. Berthoud High School (BHS), Thompson School District’s showcase school for science, engineering and mathematics, hosted the 2010 Colorado VEX Robotics Championship on Saturday, February 6. This tournament is an annual event that brings the best in robotics competitors from around the state.
