LCSO arrests man for sexual assault
Date: Dec. 29, 2011 At 10:46 p.m. last night (12/28/11), Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 3500-block of Rifle Court in Laporte on the report of a physical disturbance. On arrival it was ascertained that Robert Don Davis, DOB: 12/15/66, had threatened a 48-year-old female, also from Laporte, with a gun and sexually assaulted her. Berthoud man shot and killed by SWAT unit
Berthoud man was shot and killed by a SWAT unit after deputies say he opened fire on them Monday night. It's a policeman's worst nightmare, being called to a scene of domestic violence and finding someone with a weapon. Monday night around 9 p.m. Berthoud police responded to a call at 730 Bruce Drive.
