The Rocky Mountain Governmental Purchasing Association annually recognizes a Buyer of the Year for their contributions to the procurement profession, to the entity they serve, to professional development, to RMGPA and to the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing. The RMGPA serves Colorado, western Nebraska, eastern Utah and Wyoming.
The 2009 RMGPA Buyer of the Year is Thompson School District buyer Mary Jablonski, CPPB.
Jablonski was recognized for her professionalism in finding the resources she needs to work very efficiently with the entire purchasing, warehouse, facilities and construction management staff with the increased workload from district bond construction projects. Mary strives to uphold the integrity of the procurement process in a leadership role to facilitate the network operating system project with ISTS and the opening of Coyote Ridge Elementary library furnishings in addition to multiple capital projects.
The RMGPA chapter will submit Jablonski’s Buyer of the Year award to National Institute of Governmental Purchasing for consideration of their national award of Buyer of the Year during the annual NIGP Forum.Print This Post
