Engine 61 responded to the 4000 block of S. Iowa Avenue to assist with loading a patient for transport to a local hospital.

Citizen assist in the 1000 block of Mt. Meeker Avenue to change smoke detector batteries.

Wednesday, Dec 2

Squad 62 responded to the 5000 block of W. Cty Road 8E for a medical. The crew assisted TVEMS with loading the patient for transport.

Thursday, Dec 3

Squad 61 dispatched to 20000 block of Schultz Lane for a 63-year-old male who was not alert. TVEMS did an evaluation while Squad 61 helped to assess vitals. The crew assisted with loading the patient for transport.

Citizen assist at Station 1 for a car seat check.

Saturday, Dec 5

Engine 62 dispatched to the 5100 block of Beverly Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm. The crew entered the home with the air monitoring equipment and found no elevated levels of CO. The homeowner was advised to contact a HVAC service technician to inspect the furnace to ensure proper operation.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1400 block of 4th Street for a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading the patient into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 62 dispatched to the 1900 block of Quarter Lane for a patient who had fallen. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport.

Sunday, Dec 6

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1300 block of 4th Street for a sick person. TVEMS assumed patient care.

Squad 61 responded to the 1400 block of 4th Street for a sick person. TVEMS assumed patient care.

Squad 61 responded to the 18000 block of Weld County Road 3 for a 76-year-old woman who had fallen. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was loaded for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 300 block of Bimson Avenue for a law enforcement request for a medical. The crew evaluated the patient and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient refused transport.

Squad 61 responded to the 300 block of Dorothy Drive for a patient who had fallen. TVEMS assumed patient care. The patient was loaded for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 62 dispatched to the 4300 block of Falcon Pointe Court for a 67-year-old female with breathing problems. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS.

Engine 61 responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.

Squad 62 dispatched to the 900 block of County Road 31 for a law enforcement request for medical. The crew along with TVEMS evaluated the patients. The patients refused transport.

December 7 – 13

Monday, December 7

Squad 61 dispatched to the 5100 block of S. Iowa for a law enforcement request for medical. Patient care was transferred to TVEMS. Patient refused treatment. TVEMS cleared Squad 61 from the scene.

Engine 61 dispatched to the intersection of 1st Street and Water Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles were off to the side of the road with light damage. The crew checked the patients for injuries who reported none. The scene was turned over to LCSO.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 200 block of 2nd Street for a CO alarm. The crew entered the home with the monitoring equipment which showed no elevated levels of CO. After investigation the crew determined it was a faulty alarm. The homeowner was advised a new CO alarm would need to be installed.

Tuesday, December 8

Citizen assist to the 4250 block of Malibu Drive to check the smoke and CO detectors. The crew determined that the detectors were old and would need to be replaced. The homeowner agreed to obtain new detectors.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 800 block of 7th Street for a sick person. The crew assisted TVEMS with patient care and packaging the patient for transport.

Engine 62 responded to the 500 block of Nesting Eagles Way for a sick person. The crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport.

Wednesday, December 9

Squad 61 responded to the 900 block of S Berthoud Parkway for a patient who had fallen. The patient was evaluated and loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Thursday, December 10

Squad 61 dispatched to the 20000 block of Weld County Road 1 for a patient who had fainted. The crew assisted TVEMS with evaluating the patient. The patient was loaded for transport.

Citizen assist to the 800 block of 10th Street to change smoke detector and CO alarm batteries.

Citizen assist to the 1400 block of Murrlet Street to change smoke detector batteries.

Squad 61 responded to the 100 block of Leanne Drive to help a patient who had fallen. The patient was lifted back into her chair and evaluated by TVEMS.

Friday, December 11

Squad 61 responded to the 1400 block of 1st Street for a 69-year-old male who was sick. The crew assisted with loading the patient for transport.

Saturday December 12

Squad 61 responded to the 800 block of Douglas Place for a 45-year-old male who was sick. TVEMS assumed patient care. Patient refused transport.

Sunday, December 13

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1300 block of 4th Street for a sick person. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport to a local hospital.

Dec. 14-20

Monday, December 14

Engine 61 dispatched to I-25 mm250 SB for a two-vehicle accident. Vehicle occupants were checked for injuries and care was transferred to TVEMS. The crew remained on scene to help with traffic control for CSP.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1600 block of Chokecherry Street for chest pains. The crew evaluated the patient and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient was loaded into the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 100 block of 50th Street SW for a residential structure fire. This was a working fire that appeared to be in the attic. The crew began fire attack with the assistance of LFRA. The fire was deemed under control and an investigation completed.

Engine 62 responded to the 2500 block of W County Road 4 for a 97-year-old man who had fallen. The crew assisted TVEMS with obtaining vitals and packaging the patient for transport.

Engine 61 responded to the intersection of N. Berthoud Parkway and Grand Market Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. A single vehicle with light damage was in the roundabout with LCSO on scene. The occupants were checked for injuries. None were reported. The scene was turned over to LCSO.

Tuesday, Dec 15

BFPD dispatched to the 100 block of 50th Street SW for a residential structure fire. The homeowner believed the attic was on fire again. The crew found an area of insulation smoldering. Crews worked to cool all hot spots and removed all insulation.

Squad 61 responded to the 1500 block of Mount Meeker Avenue for a 96-year-old man who had fallen. The crew assisted TVEMS with evaluating the patient and loading for transport to a local hospital.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 500 block of S 5th Street for a 41-year-old man possibly exposed to carbon monoxide. The patient was evaluated by TVEMS.

Squad 61 responded to the 1000 block of 6th Street for 66-year-old woman who had fallen.  The crew assisted TVEMS with patient assessment.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 2300 block of Jones Place for a 3-year-old female who had fallen. The crew began patient assessment. TVEMS took over patient care.

Wednesday, Dec 16

Engine 62 dispatched to the 4800 block of Meining Road for a cardiac arrest. The crew began CPR and transferred patient care to TVEMS.

Squad 61 responded to the 600 Wagon Bend Drive for a medical assist. The crew assisted TVEMS with packaging the patient for transport.

Thursday, Dec 17

Squad 61 responded to the 3600 block of W County Road 8 for a lift assist.

Engine 61 dispatched to I-25 mm249 for a two-vehicle accident. The vehicle occupants were checked for injuries. None were reported. Once all vehicles were moved, CSP cleared Engine 61 from the scene. 

Friday, Dec 18

Engine 61 dispatched to the 1600 block of N County Road 15C for a medical assist. The crew assisted TVEMS with CPR.

Engine 61 responded to the 400 block of 3rd Street for an outdoor gas leak. The crew checked all gas meters in the area. After further investigation found a 250-gallon propane tank on its side purging feely into the air. An attack line was pulled, and the crew began to monitor the area. After 45 minutes the purging of the leak began to slow. The tank was placed back on its feet and turned back over to the property owner to monitor.

Squad 61 responded to the 800 block of Prairiestar Drive for 63-year-old woman who was sick. The crew evaluated the patient and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient walked herself to the ambulance and was transported to a local hospital.

Saturday, Dec 19

Engine 61 dispatched to the 200 block of 2nd Street for a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading the patient for transport to a local hospital.

A citizen stopped at Station 1 stating he was having difficulty breathing. The crew evaluated the patient and transferred care to TVEMS. The patient did not wish to be transported to the hospital.

Sunday, Dec 20

Squad 61 dispatched to the 1300 block of 4th Street for a medical assist. The crew began patient assessment and transferred care to TVEMS upon their arrival.

Squad 61 responded to the 1300 block of 4th Street for a medical assist. The patient was loaded onto a cot and into the ambulance for transport.

December 21 -27 missing

December 28 – 31

Monday, Dec. 28,

Squad 61 responded to the 800 block of 10th Street for an 82-year-old male having chest pains. TVEMS assumed patient care. The crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport.

Engine 61 dispatched to Larimer County Road 8 and Hwy 287 for a single vehicle rollover. All parties were out of the vehicle with no injuries. No hazards were found.

Engine 616 dispatched to Weld County Road 5 and Weld County Road 40 ½ for an unattended slash pile burn. The crew located the homeowner inside the home. He was informed that the fire must always be attended, a water source must be next to fire, and a burn permit was required. With the snowy conditions the crew determined the fire was well contained, and Engine 616 cleared the scene.

Tuesday, Dec. 29,

Squad 61 responded to the 1000 block of Gateway Park Drive for a 77-year-old man with a laceration. TVEMS assumed patient care.

Wednesday, Dec. 30,

Squad 61 dispatched to the 17000 block of Weld County Road 5 for a sick person. When TVEMS arrived, Squad 61 was cleared from the scene.

Squad 61 responded to the 300 block of Colorado Avenue for a sick person. TVEMS entered the residence and assumed patient care. The patient was loaded and transported to a local hospital.

Thursday, Dec. 31,

Engine 62 responded to the 1000 block of Diamond Wall Court for a transformer that blew and was on fire. The power pole was no longer on fire when the crew arrived and they found a dead squirrel on the ground next to the power pole and determined this to be the cause. The crew confirmed the fire was out and notified Poudre Valley REA.

Berthoud Fire responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 3000 block of Sundown Drive for an 89-year-old man having abdominal pain. The crew assisted with packaging the patient for transport.

Engine 61 dispatched to the 800 block of Highway 56 for a fuel spill at a two-vehicle accident. The crew checked for injuries and covered the spilled fuels with absorbent. The scene was turned over to LCSO.

Engine 62 dispatched to the 600 block of N. County Road 21 for a residential structure fire. All occupants had evacuated the residence. The homeowner reported the smell of burning electrical. After investigation, the crew located a melting, scorched outlet in the living room. Power was turned off at the circuit breaker, and the homeowner was advised to contact an electrician.

Squad 61 dispatched to the 2400 block of Weld County Road 46 for a medical. The crew assisted TVEMS with patient care, packaging and loading the patient for transport to a local hospital.
