Thursday, January 2

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for a possible stroke on Mayo Court. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. This was a non-injury accident.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

Saturday, January 4

BFPD responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Highway 287 just south of Larimer County Road 8. A plow truck was found on the shoulder of the road with a fire inside on the passenger side and the fire had also moved into the front tire. The fire crew worked for an hour to completely extinguish the flames inside the cab and tire.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for an infant on Mount Meeker Ave.

Sunday, January 5

BFPD responded to a fire alarm on Weld County Road 7. The building alarm was a malfunction caused by an electrical problem.

Monday, January 6

BFPD responded to a medical call on First Street. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on First Street. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Harmony Court for cardiac arrest. CPR was performed until arrival of TVEMS. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call on West County Road 8. The fire crew assessed the patient until the arrival of TVEMS. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 287 and North County Road 17. A single vehicle collided with the traffic light pole. The driver was injured with lacerations to the face and had some side pains. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a residential fire alarm on Madison Avenue. No evidence of fire was showing at the residence and no one appeared to be present. The smoke alarms were activated with no signs of smoke or fire. The homeowner was contacted and a family member was able to open the house. The smoke detectors were deactivated and batteries were changed. Faulty detectors were fixed.

Tuesday, January 7

BFPD responded to a three-vehicle accident on County Road 17. There was moderate to heavy damage to the vehicles. No injuries were reported.

BFPD assisted a citizen locked out of their car at Kwik Korner.

Wednesday, January 8

BFPD responded to a medical call for chest pain on Third St. When TVEMS arrived medical care was transferred to them.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Eighth St.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. The call was cancelled by Weld County as it was non-injury and there were no hazards.

Thursday, January 9

BFPD responded to a report of natural gas odor inside a residence on Burbank St. The fire crew was unable to find any leak or reading of natural gas in the home.

Friday, January 10

BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident on East Highway 60. There was minor to moderate damage to both vehicles. There were no reported injuries.

Saturday, January 11

BFPD responded to a medical call for chest pain on Larimer County Road 29. The crew assisted TVEMS with medical care. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Dove Lane. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a reported rollover accident on LCR 8 and LCR 23.  The uninjured driver was out of the vehicle walking around.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Iowa Avenue. A female had been attacked by her family dog and received lacerations on her arms and face. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. A resident had fallen and was complaining of hip pain. The patient care was transferred upon the arrival of TVEMS. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with Loveland Fire to a reported structure fire on 19th St. SE in Loveland. The crews were unable to locate a fire. All assigned units were cleared.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Franklin Ave. The patient was transported.

Sunday, January 12

BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Paramount. The crew searched with the detector and was unable to find a any CO. The alarm was found to be expired and the crew informed the homeowner to replace all expired detectors in the home.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Schofield. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call on East Colorado Ave. The patient was transported.

Tuesday, January 14

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at Ivy Stockwell Elementary School for a janitor who sustained a knee injury.

Wednesday, January 15

BFPD responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Weld County Road 7. One person was injured and transported.

Thursday, January 16

BFPD assisted a citizen with faulty smoke detectors on Welch Ave. The crew changed all batteries in the detectors and then cleared the scene.

Friday, January 17

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. The vehicles had minor to moderate damage. One person was transported.

Saturday, January 18

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25. Two vehicles were involved with minor damage and no injuries reported.

Sunday, January 19

BFPD responded with TVEMS for a medical call at the Berthoud Athletic Club. The fire crew assisted TVEMS with patient care for diabetic complications.

Monday, January 20

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a motorcycle accident at Valley Dirt Rider track. A rider had sustained a possible broken leg and was transported.

Tuesday, January 21

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on East County Road 2.

Wednesday, January 22

BFPD responded to a medical call for a fall on East Iowa Avenue.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for chest pain on Bristlecone Court. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a medical call for abdominal pain on West County Road 4. The crew assisted TVEMS with medical care. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for a resident who had fallen at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Highway 287 and CR 2E. There were no hazards present or reported injuries.

Thursday, January 23

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. A single vehicle was found in the median with cable wires wrapped around the doors. The driver was not injured and was assisted out through the passenger side window.

BFPD responded to an indoor odor investigation on Iowa Ave. The homeowner reported an odor of gas inside the kitchen. The fire crew investigated with air monitoring. There were no elevated levels of natural gas found.

Friday, January 24

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. This was a two-vehicle accident with minor damage. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Massachusetts Avenue. A male had fallen on the ice and fractured his ankle. The crew assisted with transporting the patient.

Saturday, January 25

BFPD responded to a commercial fire alarm at the Berthoud Animal Hospital. This was a false alarm. The crew assisted with resetting the alarm.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on South County Road 21. A patient was experiencing severe back pain. The crew assisted with transporting the patient.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Munson Court.

Monday, January 27

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 253. The northbound traffic was completely blocked by the accident. Snow and traffic created additional hazards. Two persons were transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. A single passenger car was in the median with moderate damage. The driver was injured and transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on West County Road 8E. A single vehicle was found on its top in the ditch. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle accident on N. County Road 13. There were no hazards or injuries reported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS for a medical call on Massachusetts Avenue. The patient was complaining of rib pain from the previous accident. The patient was transported.

Tuesday, January 28

BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Maureen Ave. There were no elevated readings found on the monitor and it was determined to be a faulty alarm.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 11. A car was found on its side and the driver unable to exit the vehicle. The driver was extricated from the car. There were no injuries reported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Mountain Ave. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on South CR 23. The two vehicles involved suffered minor damage. There were no reported injuries.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle accident on First Street. The vehicle was found on its side in a ditch. All parties were out of the vehicle and there were no reported injuries.

BFPD responded to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center.

Wednesday, January 29

BFPD responded to a walk-in patient at Station 2. TVEMS arrived and the patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle that had driven off the road and hit a telephone pole on W. County Road 8. There was moderate damage to the vehicle. The driver was not injured.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on W. County Road 6 for a male not breathing with CPR in progress. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. The report was for a SUV that had spun off the road in the median. The crews were unable to find an incident.

Friday, January 31

BFPD responded to a residential structure fire on Second Street [1]. By the time the crew arrived, the mobile home was fully involved in fire; fire was showing from two sides. All occupants were out of the home and there were no injuries. The fire crew extinguished the fire in 25 minutes. The source of ignition is under investigation.
