Berthoud Squad 11 responded to the 900 block of Welch Avenue
for a lift assist. The patient was loaded and transported to a local hospital.
Wednesday, January 2
Berthoud Squad 11 was dispatched to the 200 block of 2nd
Street for a 24-year-old having a seizure. TVEMS assumed patient care and the
crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport.
Thursday, January 3
Berthoud Fire was dispatched to the 300 block of Ellie Way,
for a 58-year-old man who had fallen from a ladder. Once TVEMS arrived the
patient was loaded and transported to a local hospital.
BFPD responded to the 2500 block of Likens Drive for a
72-year-old woman with heart problems. The crew assisted TVEMS load the patient
for transport.
Berthoud Fire responded to I-25 mm 254 SB for a grass fire.
Engine 16 extinguished the fire and mopped up.
BFPD was dispatched to the intersection of Larimer Cty Road
8 and Larimer Cty Road 23, for a 2-vehicle accident with moderate damage. TVEMS
assumed patient care and both drivers were transported. The scene was turned
over to Colorado State Patrol.
BFPD responded to the 1000 block of Arapahoe Avenue for an
84-year old woman who had fallen. The patient was on the floor having pain in
her right hip and leg. The crew assisted TVEMS with loading the patient for
transport.
Citizen assist to the 4000 block of S. Larimer Cty Road 23,
for needing help in changing smoke detector batteries. The crew changed all
batteries and the smoke detectors were functioning.
Friday, January 4
Berthoud Squad 11 was dispatched to the 2800 block of Night
Sky Drive for a fall victim. TVEMS assumed patient care and the crew assisted
with loading of the patient for transport.
BFPD responded to the 9000 block of Prairie Way, to assist TVEMS move a patient to the ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

Monday, January 21
BFPD responded to the intersection of Hwy 60 and Weld Cty
Road 3 for a single vehicle that had gone into the ditch. The driver stated he
was uninjured but couldn’t out of his vehicle. The crew was able to get the him
out of the vehicle and TVEMS checked him out. Scene was then turned over to
Colorado State Patrol.
Berthoud Squad 11 responded to the 200 block of 2nd
Street for a person with breathing problems. TVEMS assumed patient care and the
crew assisted with loading of the patient for transport.
BFPD was dispatched to the 300 block of Michigan Avenue, for
a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care and the crew assisted with loading of the
patient for transport.
Berthoud Fire responded to the intersection of E. Cty Road 8
and Weld Cty Road 1 for a 2-vehicle, head on collision. Both vehicles had heavy
damage, with one person transported to a local hospital. The crew cleaned up debris
from the accident and assisted with traffic control.
BFPD responded to Hwy 287 and Larimer Cty Road 6 for a truck
in the ditch, due to icy roads. The driver stated she was not injured, but
unable to drive the vehicle out because it was stuck. Larimer Cty Sheriff
called for a tow truck and the crew blocked the scene for safety because of the
icy road conditions.
Tuesday, January 22
BFPD responded to the 4000 block of Wild Wing Drive for a
medical. TVEMS assumed patient care and the crew assisted with loading of the
patient for transport.
Citizen assist to install a car seat at Station 1.
A resident came into Station 1 to see if her car seat was
installed correctly.
BFPD was assigned to a public education opportunity at the
RAFT Chili Cook Off hosted at City Star. The crew served chili and interacted
with the community.
BFPD responded to the 400 block of Meadowlark Drive along
with Larimer Cty Sheriff and TVEMS for a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care.
Wednesday, January 23
Berthoud Fire was dispatched to the Berthoud Living Center
for a medical.
Thursday, January 24
Berthoud Squad 11 responded to the 3000 block of Woodcock
Street for a child having a seizure. The crew arrived on scene to find TVEMS
with the patient and her parents. TVEMS transported the child to a local
hospital.
BFPD was dispatched to the 600 block of Ten Gallon Way for a
medical. TVEMS assumed patient care and the crew assisted with loading of the
patient for transport.
Friday, January 25
BFPD responded to the 300 block of E. Iowa for a lift
assist.
Saturday, January 26
BFPD was dispatched to the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue
for a medical. The crew advised dispatch that the female was deceased, scene
was turned over to Larimer Cty Sheriff.
Citizen assist in the 3000 block of Curlew Drive for a smoke
detector beeping. The crew changed the battery and reset the system. After
resetting the system, the detector seemed to be operating normally.
Berthoud Squad 11 responded to the 300 block of E. Iowa for
a lift assist.
Sunday, January 27
BFPD responded to the 400 block of Wark Avenue for a
grassland fire. The homeowner stated he had a fire going in the fire pit
earlier in the day, and the wind picked up and blew embers onto the hill side.
Engine 26 put a wet line around the 20 x 20 burn area. The fire perimeter was
checked one more time and was completely cold.
BFPD responded to the 1000 block of Gateway Park Drive for a lift assist.

Monday, January 28
Berthoud Squad 11 responded to the 4000 Page Place for a 6-year-old
female having a seizure. TVEMS assumed patient care and the crew assisted with
packaging the patient for transport.
BFPD responded to the 2000 block of Weld Cty Road 46 for a
cat on a power pole. Once Poudre Valley REA had de-energize the lines, then the
crew was able to proceed with getting the cat off the pole.
BFPD was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Cty Road 27E for
a medical. TVEMS assumed patient care and the patient was loaded for transport
to a local hospital.
BFPD responded to the 2000 Shoreside for a fall victim. A 60-year-old
woman had fallen and had ankle pain. The crew assisted with loading of the
patient for transport.
BFPD responded to the 1000 block of Weld Cty Road 46 for a
dog that had fallen through the ice on Hummel reservoir. The crew was able to
rescue the dog and return it to its owner.
BFPD responded to the 300 block of Capitol Avenue for a
medical. TVEMS assumed patient care and the patient was transported to a local
hospital.
Tuesday, January 29
Berthoud Squad 11 responded to I-25 mm 251 NB for a vehicle
fire. A single vehicle had been extinguished by a passerby with a dry chemical
extinguisher. Squad 11 remained on scene until Colorado State Patrol arrived.
BFPD responded to the 2000 block of Sugarloaf Road for a gas
leak. The homeowner nicked a 2” gas line with his mini excavator. Once Excel
Energy was notified and dispatched out, the crew remained on stand by until the
line was clamped.
Citizen assist for a car seat installation at Station 1.
BFPD responded to the A & W Restaurant for our
assistance in getting a person’s keys out of their locked vehicle. Our crew was
able to easily and quickly access the power lock. After verifying that the
vehicle registration matched the driver’s license of the customer, the keys
were handed over to her.
BFPED was dispatched to the 2000 block of S. Larimer Cty
Road 21 for a diabetic problem. TVEMS assumed patient care and had no further
needs from Berthoud Fire.
Wednesday, January
30
Berthoud Squad 11 responded to the 600 block of Biscayne
Circle for a medical. The patient wanted to be checked out by a hospital. TVEMS
and the crew packaged the patient for transport to a local hospital.
Berthoud Fire responded to the 200 block of Redcloud for a
diabetic problem. TVEMS assumed patient care and the crew assisted with loading
of the patient for transport.
BFPD responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.
Thursday, January 31
Berthoud Fire responded to the 6000 block of Kelly Beth
Court for chest pains. A woman was laying on the bed complaining of chest
pains. The crew assisted TVEMS with obtaining vitals and packaging her for
transport.
Berthoud Fire was dispatched to the 200 block of 3rd
Street for smoke detector battery changes.
BFPD responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical.
Berthoud Fire responded to the 2000 block of Blue Mountain
Avenue for a chicken coop on fire. A heat lamp had fallen and a power strip was
burned up above the doorway. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the scene
was turned over to the homeowner.
BFPD responded to the 500 block of 7th Street for
a man who had fallen in his driveway. TVEMS assumed patient care and the
patient was loaded for transport.
