Why ‘Fast and Furious’ is a political loser   [2]

The fight over Operation “Fast and Furious” recommences this week, as Congress returns to Washington today with a contempt vote on Attorney General Eric Holder looming.

In short, it’s a political loser for both sides that, if they choose to pursue it to its natural end, will wind up making both Democrats and Republicans look worse than people already think they are.

The vote that is expected to come on Thursday [3]— yes, the same day that the Supreme Court is expected to announce its ruling on the constitutionality of President Obama’s health care law.
