Monday, Jan. 12, 2009
BFPD assisted with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center for seizures. The patient was transported.

BFPD was called to investigate a gas odor on Maple Dr. This was coming from the gas fireplace. The crew advised the owners to have their fireplace professionally inspected.

BFPD assisted with a medical call for diabetic problems on Sixth St.  Crew assisted patient until TVEMS arrived and took over patient care.

Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009
BFPD responded to a reported car fire on County Road 6 and Hwy 287. The vehicle had smoke coming from the rear wheels. It appeared to result from the emergency brake in use causing hot brakes. The owner was advised to tow the car to a mechanic.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Homestead Dr. The patient had a head wound and actions were taken to control the bleeding.

Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009
The fire crew responded to a reported vehicle fire on the I-25 frontage road. The vehicle had engine problems causing the smoke.

BFPD assisted Weld County paramedics with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Sixth St. for diabetic problems. The patient care was transferred to TVEMS.

Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009
BFPD was called to a medical call at Berthoud High School. A student who had been assaulted was transported for further care.

BFPD responded to Willow Dr. for a medical call. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a false alarm at Berthoud High School.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on E. Nebraska Ave. The patient was transported.

Friday, Jan. 16, 2009
BFPD responded to a fire alarm for a residential structure. This was a false alarm due to a faulty alarm. The residence was unoccupied.

Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009
BFPD responded to a reported smoke investigated on Tawner Ave. This was smoke coming from a neighbor’s fireplace moving low towards the caller’s house.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on W. C. R. 4 and C. R. 23. An unoccupied vehicle was found in the ditch. The driver was found walking along CR 23. The patient was transported.
