Inmates Charged for Jail Disturbance

Four inmates have been charged in connection with a disturbance in the high security area of the Larimer County Jail on November 20, 2011 which resulted in a lockdown of the entire facility, the activation of the Jail’s Special Emergency Response Team and a K-9 to be brought into the facility.

During the disturbance the inmates threw fecal matter throughout the common area and flooded their cells which resulted in the flooding of the common area.  The inmates then refused to follow commands and barricaded themselves in their cells.

The inmates charged are Dylan Jade Garbino, DOB: 032392, Bryant Vidal Palacios, DOB: 020988, Shawn Cole Camu, DOB: 122787, and Christopher Nathaniel Green, DOB: 062285.

Each of the inmates was charged with several felonies; one count of Rioting in a Detention Facility (F5), six counts of Assault in the 2nd Degree (F4), one count of Conspiracy to Riot in a Detention Facility (F6), and one count of Hazardous Waste Violation (F4).

The charge of Rioting in a Detention Facility carries a minimum of two to ten years which must be served consecutively to any other sentence if convicted.

The charge(s) are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
