Larimer County Treasurer warns of Scam

Larimer County Treasurer, Myrna Rodenberger is warning Larimer County property owners of a potential property tax scam.

Americom Global, Inc. out of New Jersey has been sending letters to Larimer County property owners telling them “Your name appears on a list of Larimer County investors with serious property tax delinquencies.”

The letter then offers property owners a solution and loan programs that tap the equity of the property. It also offers mortgages to property owners and requests the recipient to call for a review of their situation.

There have been over a dozen calls to the Treasurer’s Office in the last few days, questioning this letter. Each property owner that has called is current on their property taxes. If you have any questions about your property taxes, please call the Larimer County Treasurer’s Office at 970-498-7020 to confirm your property tax status.

Greetings

Your name appears on a list of Larimer County investors with serious property tax delinquencies. You may have already addressed this problem and have things under control.

If that’s not the case, I may be able to offer a solution. We have loan programs that can tap the equity in your property to clear up tax liens, payoff collections, consolidate other debts, and provide a cash reserve to give you a fresh start.

Often we can provide a new mortgage regardless·of your credit score and with no income or asset disclosures. We deal regularly· and successfully with less-than perfect credit, hard-to-document income, bankruptcies, even foreclosures. We can help get a discounted settlement on distressed mortgages. We thrive on bank turndowns and our rates are very competitive.

If you’ll permit me to review your situation, I’ll be able to tell you what we can do, how quickly we can do it, and what the costs/benefits associated with the new loan program would be. I’m in the finance business, not the consulting business, so there will be no charge or obligation stemming from our confidential conversation.

Please give me a call if you’d like to discuss your options. I hope we can be of service.

Sincerely,

Gordon D. Sidford
President
