Dorothy Irene (Landolt) Burch, 91, of Mead, died July 4, 2011 at her home.
Dorothy was born May 14, 1920 in Longmont, Colorado, the daughter of Melchoir and Maria Brigitha (Caderas) Landolt. She graduated from St. John the Baptist Catholic High School. On November 27, 1945 she married Robert Burch at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont. They resided all their married life of 62 years on a farm near Mead. She was faithful to the church, and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Platteville.
Survivors include her sons Michael Burch of Mead, James (Rachael) Burch, Bob (Cindi) Burch of Longmont and John (Carleen) Burch of Mead; her daughters Cathy (Joe) DiGregorio of Frederick, Jennifer Tracy of Berthoud, Rosemary Rademacher (Link Silbaugh) of Platteville, Paula (Jay) Perkins of Platteville, Teresa (Robert) DeLanoit of Berthoud, 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Casper Landolt; two sisters, Elizabeth Ferraro, and Frieda Lisallo; twin infant sons, Ronald and Donald, and her husband Robert.
A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 8 at 10:30 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 520 Marion Avenue, Platteville, Colo. A Memorial Mass will follow with Reverend Emilio Franchomme as celebrant.
