Obituary: Frances Kramer

Frances “Fran” Kramer of Loveland died March 21, 2009 at Loveland Good Samaritan Village. She was 90 years old. She was born June 10, 1918 in Chicago, Ill. to Edward and Lena (Sweiter) Schlief.

She married George Kramer on June 15, 1936 in Crown Point, Ind. George Kramer passed in 1988.

The couple lived in the Denver area for a while, then moved to Homestead, Fla. where the lived for 20 years. They lived in Cody, Wyo. from 1989 to 1993; and have resided in Loveland for the past 16 years.

Kramer was a homemaker who loved eating, playing the organ and taking care of her family and friends. She also ran the flea market in the basement of Good Samaritan for many years.

She is survived by her daughters Carrie Staiano (Tony) of Eaton; Patricia Trout (Larry) of Cumming, Ga.; Linda Skipper (Wyman) Daeula, Ga.; Son, Donald Kramer (Cindy) of Powell, Wyo.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandchild and one brother.

Funeral services were held March 25 at Spiritual Life Center, Loveland Good Samaritan Village. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Berthoud. Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland in charge of arrangements.
