Lloyd Donald Schleiger, 52, passed away on the morning of October 16, 2016. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 8, 1964. Lloyd graduated from Arvada West High School and went on to become a plumber by trade.
Showing reining horses and shoeing horses in and helping with many horse shows in his earlier years. A true outdoorsman, he spent his last day doing what he loved, hunting with friends, and surrounded by nature. Lloyd was a kind, gentle, and giving soul. He could build anything, fix anything, and was always first to lend a hand. He grew up with horses and had a true love for all animals. As a father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, Lloyd’s genuine love and passion for his family were known and felt by all. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Donald Henry Schleiger Jr, and is survived by his son, Ben Schleiger, mother and step-father Melanie and Fred Iacino, grandmother, Nellie Schleiger, and his love, Sheila Wright.
Memorial services Saturday 11am at the Viegut Funeral Home.
