Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts will be collecting canned and non-perishable food on Saturday, Feb. 28 beginning at 9 a.m. The Scouts will be going door-to-door in every neighborhood in town, as well as in some rural areas outside of Berthoud. To avoid an early morning knock on your door, the Scouts are asking those who would like to donate to place food items in paper bags or cartons and leave them on the porch.
All donated food will go to needy families in the Berthoud area.
