Cleo Mae “Billie” (Amick) Von Riesen, 100 was born on March 18, 1916 to Ebeline (Wright) and John Amick in Fort Morgan, Colorado. She grew up in Fort Morgan and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1934. Her love was music and she played and taught the violin in the community. She attended Tarkio College in Tarkio, Missouri for 2 years. Billie married Gerhard Von Riesen on April 5, 1940 at Ensign United Presbyterian Church. Updated August 1, 2016 Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity July 2016 Friday, July 1 Berthoud Engine 1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-25 mm 255. Engine 1 arrived and found a two-vehicle accident with moderate damage and all parties out of the vehicles. The crew stabilized the vehicles and assisted with traffic.
