For the second time in only a month, tragedy has shocked the residents of Berthoud. Around 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, Berthoud Police responded to a report of a suicide at a residence on Fourth Street near Water Avenue. No details were immediately available although police and the Larimer County Coroner’s office are continuing to investigate the man’s death. Police were unable to release the name of the deceased pending notification of family. A press release will likely be made available on Monday.
