  Jacob Scott Belt, DOB: 021092, and Blake Eric Bratrud, DOB: 111891, both of Estes Park, were booked into the Larimer County Jail last night on felony charges of 1st Degree Arson, 2nd Degree Burglary and a misdemeanor charge of Theft. Belt and Bratrud were arrested by the Estes Park Police Department yesterday on felony warrants issued by the Larimer County Sheriff's Office. WASHINGTON – Jamie Paulin Ramirez, 32, a U.S. citizen and former resident of Colorado, pleaded guilty today to one count of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists. Attorney General unveils top 2010 consumer complaints During the 2010 calendar year, Colorado consumers filed 6,462 complaints with the Office of the Attorney General — a nearly 37 percent increase over 2009’s total of 4,723 complaints and a 117 percent increase over 2008’s total of 2,969 complaints.

Arson Investigation March 1, 2011   Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to Vern's Trailer Park at 4220 West County Road 54G at approximately 10:30 p. m. on Sunday, February 27 on the report of a burning structure.  Deputies worked with the Poudre Fire Authority who extinguished the blaze; however, the trailer was a total loss.  No one was in the home at the time of the fire. Jail Crowding

Due to overcrowding at the Larimer County Jail, officials were recently forced to reconfigure several housing areas to accommodate the growing number of female inmates. Jail officials converted a special male housing area over to female housing to relieve some of the overcrowding and insure the safety and care of the inmates.  The male inmates in this housing area were either moved to the general population or to other areas that could accommodate their special needs, i.e. medical concerns.  ... Vehicle Break-Ins at Trailhead

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has been receiving an increasing number of reports of vehicles parked at the Lion Gulch Trailhead parking lot being forcibly entered and items stolen by unknown individuals.  Stolen items include firearms, computers, iPods and wallets.
