Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) prepared to help low-income households

Denver, CO – March 20, 2020 – Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) has released additional energy assistance funds to our agency partners across the state and we are ready to assist those who have trouble paying their energy bills or heating their homes.

Help can be accessed by calling 1-866-HEAT-HELP (1-866-432-8435) or more information on programs can be found at www.EnergyOutreach.org.

As the current economic disruption continues, EOC anticipates that the demand for energy assistance will be more important than ever in the coming months. EOC is fortunate to have strong partnerships with utility companies, the Colorado Department of Human Service Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) Weatherization program, and emergency assistance partners across the state to ensure that families have access to energy they can afford.

EOC has been a leading expert on issues impacting low-income energy consumers for 30 years. Through strong public and private partnerships, the statewide nonprofit has raised and leveraged millions of dollars to reduce energy costs and usage for low-income Coloradans.
