Incident Activity for Feb. 16-22

Monday, Feb. 16, 2009
BFPD responded to a structure fire on Schultz Lane. The fire started around the exhaust piping system inside the wall between the living room and master bedroom. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009
BFPD responded to a wildland fire with the Loveland Fire District in the Bobcat Storm Mountain area. Two brush trucks from Berthoud were assigned to the fire until the late evening, and then released to return to the District. The fire was 70 percent contained at the time.

BFPD responded to a medical call on Wagon Trail Dr.

Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009
BFPD responded to a single car rollover accident on I-25 and Highway 56. There were no injuries.

Friday, Feb. 20, 2009
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 287 and WCR 4. There was no damage to the vehicle and there were no injuries.

Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009
BFPD responded to an illegal burn causing a grass fire that was threatening a structure on Shultz Lane. The fire that originated on one property had now spread to another. The fire was extinguished before there was damage to any structures.

BFPD responded to a controlled burn on W.C.R. 3 that had escaped the boundary and became an uncontrolled burn. The fire was contained and extinguished.

BFPD responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical call. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to Greenwood Dr. for a medical call for breathing problems. The patient was transported.
