North Carter Lake Road (CR 29) Closed for Bridge Replacement

Larimer County, Colorado – On Monday, October 4, 2010, Larimer County will close North Carter Lake Road (County Road 29), from West 1st Street (County Road 20) to West Eisenhower Boulevard (State Highway 34), to begin construction of Project No. 293 – Replacement of Bridge No. 29-0.6-20 Over the Home Supply Ditch. Access will be maintained for local traffic. Construction is expected to be complete, and the road reopened to traffic, by approximately mid-December, 2010. Work on this project will include replacement of the existing bridge with a 20′ x 7′ x 58′ long precast concrete box culvert and reconstruction of approximately 650′ of roadway to improve the sight distance.
