Berthoud Girls knocked out in first round
The Berthoud Girls Soccer team was eliminated from the playoffs by Alexander Dawson. The Mustangs were seeded #14 and defeated the #19 Spartans by a score of 7 -0. Dawson scored 4 goals in the first half and added 3 more in the second period while holding Berthoud scoreless. Spartans Top Cornerstone Christian 2-1 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer In 80 minutes of soccer on Tuesday evening the Lady Spartans held the lead for only 6:03. Yet those six minutes, most especially the final 36 seconds, proved decisive for Berthoud as they topped the Cornerstone Christian Bulldogs 2-1 at Max Marr Field.
