Rare Find: Mink

Ken Locke of Berthoud examines what he believes is a dead mink he discovered near the west edge of Highway 287. Locke said he worked at a mink farm in Connecticut when he was a teenager and felt pretty confident in his identification. At 23 inches long and three pounds, the animal fits the size description listed on the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) for an adult male mink.
