Incident activity for November, 2013 Saturday, November 2 BFPD responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25. The crew was unable to find an incident. Monday, November 4 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 near mile marker 250. This was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries reported. The “Bean” is closed, Windy says goodbye
Citing the construction on Mountain Avenue, from which she never fully recovered, and facing another summer of construction, Windy Castle has called it quits. She told customers on Saturday that it was her last day. The business remains closed on Monday, but the sign on the door says the restaurant expects to reopen soon under new management. Unconfirmed reports are that the previous owner, Michelle Lebeque is planning on opening again as soon as possible.
