LOVELAND, Colo. - The Ontario Reign edged the Colorado Eagles, 9-8, in a shootout that was one of the wildest games ever played at the Budweiser Events Center -- on several levels. A total of 28 penalties were called between the two teams, resulting in a special teams nightmare that saw 11 of the 16 regulation goals scored via special teams (10 on the power play). ONTARIO, Calif. - The Colorado Eagles defeated the Ontario Reign, 6-4, in a back-and-forth affair to kick off a weekend set between the teams. Kevin Ulanski scored the game-winner and Chad Costello iced the contest with an empty-net tally as each player scored a pair of goals in the win.
