Going for the Gold

By P.J. DiPentino Aug 7, 2010 Three local BMX riders competed in the Rocky Mountain State Games last weekend in Colorado Springs. All three come home from the three-day event with medals. Nine-year-old Phillip DiPentino, known locally as the Flying Meatball, took top honors in his age group with gold, silver and bronze medals.
