Spartans now 2-0 in Soccer
Coach Jon Barron's squad brought home another decisive victory as they defeated Roosevelt 7-4. Berthoud led 3-2 at the half on goals by Ayala, Beltran and Berra. Berthoud added four more goals in the second period with two scores by Karlsen with Beltran and Ayala each scoring. Roosevelt is now 1-1 while Berthoud is 2-0. Berthoud 11 and under baseball takes silver in league
The Berthoud 11 and under baseball team finished their regular season strong by beating the Lafayette Warriors (12-9) on the Warriors home turf. The Lafayette team had only lost three games all season. Coach Dave Overholt said, “We carried that momentum into the year end league tournament going 1 and 1 the first day.
