Monday, October 1
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on 4th St. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to Foothills Dr. for a medical call. The patient was transported.
Tuesday, October 2
BFPD responded to First United Methodist Church for a fire alarm that was troubled and causing an alert message. Apparently a power outage a few hours earlier had affected the alarm..
BFPD responded to a report of an object burning in a field south of Spartan Ave on County Road 17. The crew found a bundle of brown paper bags aflame and there was not enough material left to idetify the object that was burned. The crew extinguished the fire.
BFPD responded to a medical call on Blue Mountain Avenue for a person who had been kicked by a horse. The individual was complaining of shoulder pain and was transported.
Thursday, October 4
BFPD responded to Lone Tree Dr. for a report of a person being bucked from a horse. The fire crew assisted TVEMS. The rider was transported.
The fire crew assisted with the Berthoud High School homecoming bonfire by igniting and later extinguishing the fire.
Friday, October 5
BFPD assisted a citizen on McColm St.
BFPD responded to a CO alarm on Horseshoe Circle. The fire crew assisted with replacing the batteries in the carbon monoxide detector.
BFPD responded to a fire alarm at Turner Middle School. This was an accidental alarm and the crew reset the alarm.
Saturday, October 6
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 248. This was a non-injury accident.
Sunday, October 7
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 21 and 8. The crew found a single vehicle off the road with minor damage and no occupants around.
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. This was a two-vehicle accident with minor to moderate damage to the vehicles. There were no reported injuries.
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 4. This was a two-vehicle accident with light to moderate damage to the vehicles. One occupant was injured and was transported.
Monday, October 8
BFPD responded to the south shore of Carter Lake for a patient who had a fish hook stuck deep inside a finger. The fire crew assisted TVEMS with medical care.
Tuesday, October 9
BFPD responded to a report of a strong chemical smell in the area of 2nd Street and Turner Ave. The fire crew investigated the area and found the odors to be coming from an automotive repair shop.
Wednesday, October 10
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Welch Ave. The patient was transported.
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on 2nd St. The patient was transported.
Thursday, October 11
BFPD responded to an odor investigation in a residence on Iowa Ave.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.
Friday, October 12
BFPD responded to a reported grass fire on County Road 10E. This was a farmer’s controlled burn.
BFPD responded to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical call for a resident with breathing problems. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a reported structure fire on Mill Creek Road. The fire was contained to the attic but, as a result of the ceiling collapsing, there was also damage to the first floor. Loveland Fire, Mountain View Fire, Johnstown Fire and TVEMS all responded to the scene. Windsor Fire responded to cover the District during the fire. The source of ignition was lightening.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on 1st St.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Longs Peak Dr.
