Wednesday, October 1
BFPD responded to a medical call on 2nd Street. The crew assisted TVEMS with the patient care.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Jefferson Avenue.
BFPD responded to a report of a residential structure fire on Colorado Avenue. The fire crew found a single story structure with moderate smoke inside the residence coming from an oven that was set for self-cleaning. The structure was checked for further heat with nothing found. The crew ventilated the structure and then turned the scene over to the Fire Investigator.
Thursday, October 2
BFPD responded to a single vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. There were no injuries reported.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Glen Drive.
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on S. County Road 21. The patient was transported.
Friday, October 3
BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call on River Glen Way. The patient was deceased upon arrival. LCSO and a victim advocate arrived and the crew cleared the scene.
BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident with light damage at County Road 8 and Highway 287. There were two injured patients but they chose to not be transported.
Saturday, October 4
BFPD assisted LCSO and TVEMS with a medical call at Welch Reservoir. The patient was assisted by TVEMS and the crew cleared the scene.
Sunday, October 5
BFPD responded to a report of smoke in the 5000 block of County Road 4. The crew found a homeowner burning weeds in the driveway. The crew informed the homeowner of the burning policies in the district. The fire was extinguished.
Monday, October 6
BFPD responded to a reported vehicle off the roadway on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. One patient received first aid at the scene.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on 3rd St. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Holmes Place for an allergic reaction. The patient was transported.
Tuesday, October 7
BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 250. One patient was transported.
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for hemorrhaging on 2nd Street.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a medical call for breathing problems on West County Road 6. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover on the frontage road near Highway 56 and Interstate 25. There were no injuries reported. The fire crew assisted with hazards and traffic control and then cleared the scene.
Wednesday, October 8
BFPD responded to an indoor odor investigation on Navajo Place. The fire crew investigated the residence with air monitors and leak detectors and did not find any gas leaks.
BFPD responded to a report of an outside gas odor on East Michigan. The fire crew did not find any readings of gas in the area.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a reported bonfire out of control on 4th Street. The fire crew found a large bonfire within 50 feet of a structure. The property owner was advised of the burn permit regulations and the fire was extinguished.
BFPD responded to a reported gas odor investigation in the area of Kwik Korner near Meadowlark Drive. The crew investigated the area and nothing was found.
Thursday, October 9
BFPD responded to a report of a grass fire on Yellowstone Road. The call was cancelled before arrival.
BFPD assisted a citizen with smoke detectors on 14th Street.
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on 3rd Street.
Friday, October 10
BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on East Highway 56. There were no injuries reported.
BFPD and TVEMS assisted a person on North 4th Street who had fallen.
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a trailer rollover on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. There were no injuries reported.
Saturday, October 11
BFPD responded to a two vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. There was mild damage to the vehicles and one patient was treated on scene.
Monday, October 13
BFPD assisted a citizen in the 700 block of 14th Street with activated smoke alarms. The fire crew found the alarm to be a burglar alarm. The homeowner was advised to contact an electrician to determine the cause of the alarm.
BFPD was dispatched to a residential fire alarm on 5th Street. The fire crew spoke with the homeowner who stated the fire was from burnt food.
Tuesday, October 14
BFPD assisted Larimer County Sheriff’s office with a medical call in the 4000 block of High Plains Avenue.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at the Berthoud Community Center. The patient was transported.
Wednesday, October 15
BFPD responded to a medical call for a person who had fallen on 2nd Street. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded with TVEMS to the Berthoud Living Center for a medical call. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a medical call for back pain on N. County Road 17. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a mutual aid motor vehicle rollover accident in Loveland. Assistance with extrication was not needed and the fire crew cleared the scene.
Thursday, October 16
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on McColm.
BFPD responded to a report of a grassfire at mile marker 252 on Interstate 25. A small, slow moving grass fire was found and extinguished.
BFPD responded to a report of a two-vehicle rollover accident in the area of Highway 56 and Interstate 25. The crew was unable to locate an accident.
Friday, October 17
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 248. This accident involved a semi and a single vehicle. There were no injuries reported. The semi truck had a slow diesel gas leak. The fire crew assisted with traffic control and with controlling the leak.
Saturday, October 18
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident south of mile marker 250 on Interstate 25. A single automobile was found in the cables of the center median. There were no occupants found in the car or surrounding area.
BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 252. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. The patient was transported.
Sunday, October 19
BFPD and TVEMS responded to a report of a sick person lying on the bench in front of Hays Market. The patient was transported.
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on 7th Street. The patient was transported.
Monday, October 20
BFPD responded on a reported motor vehicle accident on County Road 4. The fire crew was unable to locate an incident.
BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident on W. County Road 8 and N. County Road 21. There was minor damage to both vehicles. One person was injured and transported.
BFPD responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Interstate 25. The crew searched the Interstate and found nothing.
Tuesday, October 21
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call on Parrish Ranch Road. The patient was transported.
BFPD assisted a citizen with smoke detector activation on Sioux Drive. The fire crew replaced the batteries in the detectors.
Wednesday, October 22
BFPD responded to a medical call on the Flex Bus stopped on Mountain Ave and 2nd Street. A male passanger was transported.
Thursday, October 23
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Redwood Circle. The resident was transported.
BFPD responded to a reported gas leak in the area of Serenity Ridge Drive and Tranquility Court. A gas line had been accidentally cut by a landscape crew in a new construction area. Excel energy arrived to the scene and clamped the leak.
BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 248. There were no injuries reported.
BFPD responded to a report of an outside smoke odor in the area of Foothills Drive. The crew was unable to locate a source of an odor.
BFPD and TVEMS assisted a person having breathing difficulties on Mountain Ave.
Saturday, October 25
BFPD and TVEMS assisted a person on Turner Avenue who had hip pain. The resident was transported.
BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on West County Road 8 and Highway 287. There was heavy damage to the vehicle. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported. The fire crew remained on scene for clean up and traffic control.
BFPD responded to an indoor odor investigation on Navajo Place. The fire crew found complications with the furnace and recommended the homeowner call a HVAC company for repairs.
BFPD responded with TVEMS for a medical call at Turner Middle School football field. A male sustained a neck injury. The person was transported.
BFPD responded to a motorcycle accident on North County Road 31. A single motorcyclist was injured.
Sunday, October 26
BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call on Glenview Drive.
BFPD responded to a single car rollover accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. The two occupants of the vehicle were not injured. The fire crew attended to a fuel leak and cleaning debris from the roadway and then cleared the scene.
Monday, October 27
BFPD assisted a citizen on Redcloud Ave.
BFPD responded to a report of a grass fire at the intersection of Larimer County Road 21 and Larimer County Road 6. The fire crew was unable to locate a fire.
Tuesday, October 28
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for a sick person on 2nd St. The patient was transported.
Wednesday, October 29
BFPD responded to a report of a grass fire near the intersection of Malibu and Shelby Drive. The crew searched the area and did not find a fire. The smoke that was seen was from a controlled burn in the Lyons Fire District.
BFPD and TVEMS responded to a medical call on 2nd Street for chest pains. The patient was transported.
Thursday, October 30
BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call at Berthoud Living Center. The patient was transported.
BFPD responded to a report of an alarm in a vacant house on Redwood Circle. The crew did not find anything that might be causing an alarm. The scene was left with a Larimer County Sherriff Officer.
Friday, October 31
BFPD responded to a gas leak on S. County Road 21 and W. County Road 4. Excel was notified and responded to the scene.
BFPD responded to a medical call for a vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 249. The driver had passed out then ran off the roadway. The patient was transported.
BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call on Keep Circle for a patient with leg pain.
