LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Colorado Eagles scored four goals in the final period to claim a come-from-behind, 5-3, win in their first trip to Las Vegas. Loveland, Colo. - The Stockton Thunder picked up their first victory of the young season with a 5-4 win over the Colorado Eagles in a wild game at the Budweiser Events Center. The game saw a total of 25 penalties called and back-and-forth scoring in a frantic third period. Spartan Softball Advance To State Semi-Finals
Berthoud The Berthoud High School softball team won each of their state tournament playoff games on Friday and, for the second consecutive year, will advance to the 3A State semi-finals. The Lady Spartans toppled Holyoke 7-2 in the Round 1 game before beating second-seed Holy Family 13-8 in the quarter-final game. Berthoud will face off against Rocky Ford at 10:00am Saturday morning at Aurora Sports Park.
