Berthoud falls in softball title game

AURORA — Expectations are issued along with the uniform tops for the Berthoud High School softball team.

Seeing the Spartans do something notable in the postseason is almost standard procedure, although this year’s model had plenty of tough moments and erratic progress because of youth and multiple injuries. Berthoud finishes second at state

AURORA — Berthoud High School’s run in the Class 3A state softball tournament came to an end Saturday at Aurora Sports Park, losing to Valley, 6-4, in a rematch of the 2010 title game. READ MORE
