HAYS, KS — Several area students have accepted scholarships to attend Fort Hays State University for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Robert Workman, a 2011 Berthoud High School graduate, accepted a $700 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award. Workman is the son of Rob and Laurie Workman, Berthoud, Colo.
Sara Hewson, a 2011 Thompson Valley High School graduate, accepted a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in health and human performance and a $700 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award. Hewson is the daughter of Bob and Maureen Hewson, Loveland, Colo. She plans to major in health and human performance.
David Arebalo, a 2011 Loveland High School graduate, accepted a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in physics and a $700 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award. Arebalo is the son of Monica Arebalo, Loveland, Colo. He plans to major in physcs.
