Go Shopping at Berthoud High

Berthoud High School student leadership spent their Friday afternoon getting ready for the Saturday Garage Sale. By 5 p.m. the auxiliary gym already had a good supply and variety of merchandise and cars and trucks kept arriving with more. The council members were busy carrying in merchandise, sorting and stacking for display. The response has been good and there is a great selection of items. Garage Sale at Berthoud High School to benefit Sabados

Alex Sabados and his parents put up a valiant battle against Alex’s brain tumors. They lost the battle and we lost Alex. However, the fight was expensive and took is toll on the family. The Berthoud High School Student Council has been helping. They have had several events to help Alex including penny wars, selling T-shirts and selling wrist bands. Obituary: Alex Sabados

Alex Sabados, 14, died March 24, 2010 at his home following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 26, 1996 in Boulder to David and Julia (Stepniowska) Sabados. Alex attended Berthoud Elementary school and was currently in the 8th grade at Turner Middle School in Berthoud. Alex was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont, the Boy Scouts of America Troop 6 in Berthoud, and RMR BMX Team in Berthoud. A wonderful, fun loving and happy boy, his family ...
