Edward F. Sanford Sept. 2, 1934 - Jan. 2, 2018 Edward F. Sanford, aka Dad, Pop, Grampa and Poppa, left to see Jesus face to face on Jan. 2, 2018, escaping a short but exhausting battle with lung and liver cancer. He was born in Kingston, New York, on Sept. 2, 1934, to Edward and Julia Reidy Sanford and was a graduate of St. Mary's School and Kingston High School, 1952. He served in the U. S. in honor of Col. Leo Boston   DENVER ­— Thursday, July 14, 2011 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today ordered flags be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide on Friday, July 15, in honor of Col. Leo S. Boston. Flags should be lowered from sunrise to sunset. Col. Boston was the pilot of an A1 Skyraider aircraft that was on a search-and-rescue mission in North Vietnam on April 29, 1966, when it was reported missing. Col.
