Falcons Take Both Games of Saturday Doubleheader With Portland USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force baseball swept a doubleheader with Portland Saturday  at Falcon Field.  The Falcons took game one, 8-3, and game two 9-4.  The Falcons, who have won three in a row, and four of their last five, improve to 10-10 on the season. Big Inning Lifts Falcon Baseball Past Portland 12-4

March 18, 2011 USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - A seven-run fifth inning highlighted Air Force baseball’s 12-4 win over Portland Friday afternoon at Falcon Field. The win lifted the Falcons to 8-10 on the season and dropped the Pilots to 8-7. Trailing 4-2, the Falcons batted around in the fifth, racking up five hits and seven runs to jump ahead 9-4. AFA Women sweep tennis matches

The Air Force women’s tennis team swept a pair of matches Friday morning at the Academy. The Falcons downed CSU-Pueblo and Metro State, each by a 7-0 score, in the team’s final non-conference matches of the season. With the wins, Air Force improved to 14-4 this spring. The Falcons won all 12 singles matches in straight sets, including five 6-0, 6-0 scores, and did not lose more than two games in any of the six doubles matches. USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force baseball split a doubleheader with Creighton Wednesday at Falcon Field. The Falcons (7-10) took game one, 2-1, while the Blue Jays (13-4) took game two 11-9. In game one, the Falcons rallied back from a 1-0 deficit with two runs in the seventh to pull out the win. AFA Men’s Gymnastics claims first-ever top 10

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – For the first time in program history, the Air Force men’s gymnastics team is ranked in the nation’s top-10. Following a strong weekend of competition, that saw two of the top four team scores of the season, the Falcons are ranked 10th in the GymInfo National Rankings, with a three-score average of 343.300. DENVER, Colo. -- Denver scored two power play goals and then added an even-strength goal with a minute left as the 12th-ranked Pioneers beat Air Force, 3-1, in the championship game of the 19th annual Denver Cup college hockey tournament, Saturday, Nov. 27, at Magness Arena in Denver.
