Tinney family update

Tuesday morning we received news that Ian Tinney’s wife Laurel had broken her leg and is now in the Longmont United Hospital after undergoing surgery Wednesday. The Berthoud Recorder is asking the community to help.

Family friend Teri Johnson writes: “I know that the boys could use cash for gas money and food, while they are trying to look after both parents in two places. I have also thought of gift cards to fast food places and Hays Market or Wal-Mart. Gas cards would help, too. Things like that people can get to me, and I will make sure they have them ASAP.”

You can make contributions to the Ian Tinney Assistance Fund at any Guaranty Bank from Colorado Springs to Wyoming, as well as right here in Berthoud. Call Teri at 970-215-8785. Gift cards, etc. can be mailed to P.O. Box 1649, Berthoud, CO 80513. She is also willing to pick up any donated items and deliver them to the family.
