This year, the drive will provide 1,300 backpacks filled with supplies to students in the Thompson School District. Military moms start support group

Three military mothers started a local support group for each other and for their families. Laural Downer and Beth Sterck are the founding members and as one of their first projects, they want to send packages to local service men and women serving overseas. Animal House Receives Second Chance

Press Release After asking the community for a second chance, Animal House received an overwhelming influx of community support. “No words can truly express how deeply we are affected by the recent outpouring of support from our community,” exclaims Executive Director, Sandra Risler. Donations needed for After Prom event

The Berthoud After Prom event committee is in need of donations.  After prom is open to all juniors and seniors, not just those attending prom. The event provides a fun, safe, substance-free environment for juniors, seniors and their dates.  The After Prom event will be held at 11:00 p.m. from Saturday, April 24 until 3:30 a.m. Sunday, April 25.     Donations pay for the activities, entertainment, food, and raffle prizes.  In the past, the prizes have included TV’s, DVD players, ipods ... Berthoud High School VEX Robotics team needs donations

Berthoud High School (BHS), Thompson School District’s showcase school for science, engineering and mathematics, hosted the 2010 Colorado VEX Robotics Championship on Saturday, February 6. This tournament is an annual event that brings the best in robotics competitors from around the state.
