Theft of Automobile Parts: 1100 block of 6th St Court, a resident reported someone stole the tailgate from his Ford F150.
Criminal Trespass: 500 block of 6th St, a resident reported someone entered his vehicle and stole items out of the vehicle. Please don’t leave valuables in your vehicle.
Violation of Protection Order: 4th Street/Water Ave, a 23 year old man was contacted as a passenger on a traffic stop. He was found to be restrained from the driver of the vehicle.

Prison Release: Received information about a 34 year old man that will be released on parole 12/04/14 and may be a threat to the victim. The 34 year old man couldn’t make it 24 hours as he was arrested in Denver for parole violation.
Barking Dog: 600 block of Bristlecone Court, for the second night in a row an anonymous neighbor called about a small barking dog at this address. No one was home but a written warning was left on the front door. Deputy tried using his negotiation skills to calm the angry dog but the dog wasn’t impressed

Motor Vehicle Accident: Hwy 287 / Hwy 56 – Deputy arrives on scene of a 2 vehicle accident just after it occurs. A 69 year old female driver and an 18 year old female driver were both Southbound when first driver stopped for the changing red light at the intersection, however, the 18 year old could not stop as fast and attempted to avoid contact.

Assault/Domestic Violence: 300 block of E. Michigan Avenue, a resident called 911 and reported a verbal argument between husband and wife.
Welfare Check/Citizen Assist: Information about a male lying on the side of the road. A 31 year old man from Illinois traveled out to Fort Collins to be with friends. They ditched him a month ago in Fort Collins and he began asking for money for a bus ticket. The money only got him to Berthoud on Saturday night where he slept in the ditch till the sun came up. He is trying to get to the bus depot in Denver so he can go back home. Deputy gave him a courtesy ride to homeless shelter where they had a bed available for him.

Animal at Large/Vicious Animal/Unlicensed Animal/Rabies Violation: 3 dogs escaped from the 300 block of Nebraska Avenue and attacked a resident and her 2 dogs. A 24 year old woman was identified as the owner of the 3 dogs and was issued a summons for the above violations.
Warrant Arrest: 900 block of Franklin Avenue, while investigating a suspicious circumstance, an 18 year old man was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested.

Assault: 700 block of Douglas Place, received a complaint that a 35 year old man was possibly physically abusive to a 32 year old woman.
Fraud: 900 block of 10th Street: a resident attempted to buy a boat online on the OODLE website for $1000. The person selling the boat sent him a link to what he thought was Pay-Pay but it was actually Western Union. The suspect requested two $500 vanilla pre-paid reload cards to be sent to a guy named “Melvin D”. The resident sent both cards but his hopes were sunk because he never received his boat.
Suspicious Circumstances: Spartan Ave, a resident received a strange letter addressed to his company talking about a radiation facility in France. The letter was signed Sweden.

MVA Hit and run: 300 block of Michigan Ave: a resident reported his company work was truck while it was parked in front of his residence last night. It appears that the vehicle that hit his truck is a higher truck with a black grill guard.
Trespass: 100 block of Mountain Ave, Habitat for Humanity, a 37 year old man and a 41 year old man were found “dumpster diving” in the dumpsters clearly marked “NO TRESPASSING” on the front.
Assist Colorado State Patrol: Southbound I-25 with an accident just south of the Berthoud exit.
Underage Consumption of Alcohol/ Warrant Arrest: 3rd St/Welch Ave, a 19 year old man and a 21 year old man were contacted after they were observed urinating in public. The 2 men were found to have warrants for their arrest. 2 other people were issued summons for underage consumption of alcohol.
Harassment/Domestic Violence: 300 block of Massachusetts Ave. a 37 year old man was contacted very intoxicated after he was in verbal and physical argument with his girlfriend,
Found Dog: owner notified and dog was returned.

Criminal Mischief: 200 block of 2nd Street, someone tore down some pickets to a fence to create a short cut.
Fraud: 5400 block of Gary Drive, a resident’s credit card was used for a string of food and liquor purchases from Colorado to Illinois
Fraud: 1600 block of Glacier Ave. a resident’s credit card was used for approximately $2500 in purchases at an Aurora Wal-Mart.

MVA Property Damage: 1400 block of Mt Meeker Ave., a 17 year old male forgot to put his Jeep in park and the vehicle rolled out of his parent’s garage and into the neighbor’s white privacy fence.
Burglary / Theft: 500 block of Redwood Cr. A resident came to Town Hall to report a burglary to her home garage. She noticed that her garage door had been left partially open on 2 different occasions but never thought much of it until this morning when she noticed items missing.
Fraud: 300 block of E Colorado Av. A resident called to report that his Bank of America card had been compromised and used in Southern Colorado.
Suspicious Circumstances: 800 block of Franklin Ave., a 54 year old woman reported that her wages are being garnished fraudulently by a Loan company.
Suspicious Circumstances: 3700 block of East Highway 56, a 30 year old man was called in as a suspicious person after he walked up to the house and asked if he could come in to stay the night. After being told that he could not stay the night he asked for a blanket and told the said that he would be sleeping in their field. Deputies made contact with the man under a blanket, lying in the grass between the residence and I-25. He told deputies that he was hitch hiking to Denver. Deputy gave him a courtesy ride to Longmont.

Vehicle Accident: 800 block of Greenwood Drive, a driver forgot to set the brake on his truck. The truck rolled down the street and struck a pickup.
DUI: 100 block of Mountain Ave, a 28 year old woman left her vehicle in the middle of the road during a fight with her boyfriend.

Vehicle Accident: Hwy 287 Hwy 56: a Lochbuie woman thought the vehicle in front of her was going to go through the yellow light at Hwy 287 and Hwy 56, but the car in front of her stopped quickly which caused her to hit the other vehicle from behind.

Lost Property/Found property: 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, a resident reported that she lost her wallet sometime yesterday. She called later in the day and found her wallet.
Disturbance of Peace and Quiet: 300 block of Nebraska Avenue, neighbors reported they are afraid of going in their back yards due to the barking and aggressive dogs at this address.
Disturbance: 200 block of 2nd Street, a resident invited her female friend to stay with her after being released from prison. The woman came home intoxicated and the two started fighting.

Suspicious/Possible Theft: 100 block of E. Iowa Avenue, a resident stated that on Christmas Eve she had placed 11 boxes of girls dresses on the front porch for UPS pick up. She left at 2pm and the normal UPS driver arrived at 4pm but no boxes were found.
Slick roads led to several slide offs. Assisted tow company with lane closure to pick up vehicles in ditches.

Unlawful Sexual Contact: A 31 year old man was at MCR reporting that his 8 year old daughter was in Berthoud when she was touched inappropriately by an 11 year old cousin.

Vehicle Accident Hit and Run/Warrant Arrest: Mountain & CR 17, Three vehicle accident happened when 1st vehicle stopped at red light, 2nd stopped behind, 3rd hits 2nd who lunges into 1st. 3rd leaves before we arrive. Driver of second vehicle also had a warrant so they were arrested. Who’s on 1st?
Forgery: 1200 block of Lake Avenue, a resident wrote a check to Phil Long Ford in Denver as a loan to a 44 year old acquaintance to buy a vehicle. The acquaintance claims Phil Long Ford would not take a 3rd party check so the man altered the name to his own landscaping business and cashed the check at the Bank.
