Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity for August 2010 Sunday, August 1 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident at Hays Market on Mountain Ave. A vehicle had hit part of the structure but no damage was done to the building. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity for July 2010 Friday, July 2 BFPD responded to a reported grass fire on Bruce Drive. A small fire in a homeowner’s back yard was extinguished. BFPD responded to a reported vehicle fire on Interstate 25 southbound lanes @ mile marker 253. Upon arrival, a Honda CRV was found with no signs of fire in the vehicle, but did have mechanical problems. The owner arranged for the vehicle to be towed.
