BHS senior Elizabeth Revera receives Daniels Fund Scholarship

The Daniels Fund announced its scholarship recipients this week. Three seniors in the Thompson School District were awarded the scholarship. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Rivera of Berthoud High School was joined by Rebecca Mendoza and Sara Watkins of Thomson Valley High School. The Turner Middle School Odyssey of the Mind team missed the Long's Peak Turnament at Berthoud High School, but managed to qualify for the state level by attending another district's competition. The team of Nicole Silvers, Charles Walkes, Olivia Conde and Olivia Eppler is coached by Barry Eppler. They chose to do he Nature Trail'r long term problem. Berthoud Elementary School fielded two teams in Saturdays Odyssey of the Mind Long’s Peak Tournament at Berthoud High School. Odyssey is an international educational program that provides creative problem solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Show Choir Showcase a great success

The Fourth Annual Show Choir Showcase was indeed a showcase of talent and judging by the number of people attending, a great success. There was no shortage of Choirs and the audience that packed Berthoud High School Commons was treated to over an hour and a half of musical entertainment.
