Gertrude Ellen Beckner, 89 of Bremerton, Washington, Jan. 17, 1921 to March 14, 2010 Gertie passed away March 14th at Ashley Gardens due to complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Berthoud, Colorado to Herbert and Nellie Peak. She moved to Bremerton as a young girl and graduated from Bremerton High School in 1940. Marion Anderson passed away peacefully on Oct. 28, 2009 at Hospice Care Center of Boulder/Broomfield County in Louisville after a short illness.
