A friendly cat has been staying in a home at the north end of Carter Lake since last Sunday. It is obviously a pet, but has no identification. If you think this might be your pet, call 720-272-0355 and describe  the cat.

No Winter Boating Access at Carter Lake and Horsetooth

The Denver Post identifies the downed aircraft as a Cessna 210 Centurion registered to a Lyons, Colorado resident. No names have been released. The 2011 Larimer County Department of Natural Resources' Annual Entrance Permits, for parks and open spaces managed by Larimer County, will be available for purchase on December 1.
