Incident Reports, July 2014 Sunday, June 1 BFPD responded to a reported outside gas leak from a cut line on Martingale Drive. The homeowner had accidentally cut a line with a shovel. Xcel was notified and arrived to repair the line. Monday, June 2 BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide alarm in a residence on SW 49th St. The fire crew did not find any trace of CO on the detector. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for June 2013 Saturday, June 1 BFPD responded to a reported grass fire on Meadowlark Dr. This was a controlled ditch burn but due to the wind the fire was getting out of control.
