2014 Annual Veterans Stand Down The Annual Veterans Stand Down will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014, at The Mission, 460 Linden Center Drive, Ft Collins. The Stand Down will be held from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Stand Down is for all homeless veterans in the area. The Mission will be serving a hot meal at noon. Daniel Skeen Reports on French-speaking Missionary Service in Canada Daniel Skeen, a graduate of Berthoud High School has completed a two-year missionary assignment in Canada for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Skeen served in the Canada French Speaking Montreal Mission. Hunter Hawkins to serve 2-year Mission in Mexico

Hunter Hawkins, a 2009 graduate of Berthoud High School, has been called to serve for two years in the Mexico City West Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Hawkins, son of Bryce and Nancy Hawkins, will serve the people of Mexico and teach about Jesus Christ in the Spanish language.
