Lady Spartans Place Sixth in Mountain View League Meet By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer It was on a cool, cloudy and at times rainy Loveland Olde Course on Wednesday afternoon where the Berthoud High girls golf team competed in their second tournament of the season. As a team, the Lady Spartans finished in sixth place in the six team tournament. Lady Spartans Compete at Skyline Invitational By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud High school girls golf team kicked off their 2011 season on Monday morning at the Twin Peaks Golf Course in Longmont. The Lady Spartans finished with a team score of 339 strokes, good enough for only 20th place in the 23-team Skyline Invite.
